John Q. Vaughan, Esq, Founder and CEO of Select 1 Sports, started this company based a singular principle; to provide current and aspiring professional athletes with representation dedicated to advocating for their worth, while equally focusing on protecting their financial future.  John had owned and managed a successful law firm for several years when he was approached by a good friend asking that he help with a contractual dispute.  The friend was a current NFL athlete, and the dispute was regarding a disagreement with contractual terms with his previous agent.  After successfully assisting his friend with his issue, he was asked to represent him in an agent capacity. After much consideration, John decided to take his professional acumen and relentless advocacy to sports agency, and thus Select 1 Sports was born.  John has since assembled a team fully equipped to assist athletes with any of their needs, as well as developed valuable relationships with players, coaches, executives and various other industry specific people.
