At Select 1 Sports, we do not believe in saving the best for only a few. When you sign with our Agency, you get the best, you get Attorney John Q. Vaughan. His staff will ensure everything is streamlined, but he will personally negotiate all of you contracts, endorsements, etc.
We have developed relationships with former NFL athletes who have a proven track record of elite combine training. We have partnered with them to get you the best training, by the best.
I am asked this question quite often, and I always answer it the same way; I can't run, block or catch for you, that's your job. I will put you in a position for success, but you have to put in the work and execute. If you do that, I will talk to every GM, coach and scout that we collectively feel where you will be a good fit. I can assure you, they will know who you are. We will do it together. I tell all of my clients, I will out work you, so make me sweat.
That's easy; with us you are not a number. Your passion is our passion. When someone is negotiating your contract, would you rather someone with 50 other contracts to negotiate that day, or someone who isn't leaving until the deal gets done. We'll pack a snack, and get it done.
This is tricky, and we caution you to do your due diligence in any situation where you are being offered money. This is strictly prohibited. However, providing training facilities, housing and necessary living expenses are allowed so long as you understand they serve as a loan until you sign your first deal. This is why it is so important to get the absolute best training you can get, but not to pay exorbitant fees while doing so. The last think we want to happen is for you to be in debt before you even step on the field!
